Dane Lloyd, with his first question in the House of Commons, suggests a terrific improvement to our parole system.
‘No body, no parole’ has been implemented in Australia, and is being considered in the U.K. It would prevent convicted killers, like Vader, from getting parole while continuing to withhold the location of their victim’s remains. Without this change, these killers are, in essence, allowed to continuously revictimize the surviving families. This should be a necessary part of the convicted killer’s acknowledgement of his guilt. I’m very hopeful that our Federal Government will support this reform. Way to go, Dane!
