Defense has applied for Legal Aid to pay the costs of an expert witness. Possibility (unlikely) that refusal to pay these expenses might have introduced a delay to the trial. Today, Rick said that these expenses were approved.
This also serves to validate that Beresh is pro-bono on this case.
