Welcome

My name is Bretton Myles McCann. With my wife, Mary-Ann, we have created this site to record our memories. For us, for our family, and for future generations.

After my parents passed, I found a lot of photographs, documents and other items from my heritage in their home. Mary-Ann’s mother had also compiled genealogical records from her Zetsen and Hurkens family roots. I became quite interested in curating all of this, and started with the Family Albums, included in the Genealogy section.

Collaborating with Mary-Ann’s aunt Toni and sister Annie, there are currently over 6000 individuals documented in our family tree.

For several years, I recorded these genealogy records on the MyHeritage Family Tree site. In early 2019, I migrated all of the family tree information to this website. For privacy purposes, you will need to login to the site to see information about living individuals.

Of late, I have been organizing photographs into albums of people, families, and other categories.

I encourage you to explore this site. Feel free to click the Twitter and Facebook icons to access my pages on these social media sites. If you have suggestions or information that I should include, please message me by clicking the email icon.
